Dr. Jiong Hu is looking for one Undergraduate Research Assistant to join his research group to work on concrete material research in the labs at Peter Kiewit Institute.

Major responsibility: assist graduate research assistants with laboratory work, including batching, fresh concrete testing, and hardened concrete testing​

Research topics: 3D printing with concrete, biomimicry concrete-based materials, incorporating industry and agricultural waste in concrete, ultra-high-performance concrete … ​

Pay rate: $13/hr (up to 10hr/week)
