This session will examine construction insurance requirements from a contractual standpoint, with emphasis on professional liability (errors and omissions) insurance. Key topics include design liability in design-build projects and the differences in standards of care between designers and contractors. The discussion will highlight how insurance provisions and liability standards shape risk allocation and contractual relationships in construction practice.
