The Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) department at the South Dakota School of Mines & Technology (SD Mines) seeks exceptional candidates for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor.
An earned doctorate in Environmental Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering or a closely related discipline is required. The position has dual focus of teaching and research, and the candidate is expected to be a teacher-scholar. A strong commitment to excellence in teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses is expected, along with contributing to program coordination and leadership, and strengthening the undergraduate and graduate environmental engineering areas of emphasis. The faculty member will be responsible to teach fundamental environmental engineering courses as well as develop other courses related to their area of expertise.
