Dakota Loudner from Blair, Nebraska. Dakota is now the head professional at Drumm Farm Golf Club in Independence, Missouri.
Matt Sabol from Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Matt is currently back in Wisconsin exploring career opportunities in the golf industry.
Corey Sigler from Bellevue, Nebraska. Corey is now the assistant professional at the Sanctuary Golf Course in Sedalia, Colorado.
Michael Wade from Lincoln, Nebraska. Michael left the head professional position at Wilderness Ridge here in Lincoln and is returning to the Chicago area to work as an assistant PGA professional at Rich Harvest Farms in Sugar Grove, Illinois.

I am from a small town called Port Orchard, which is just across the Puget Sound from Seattle, WA. I found my dad’s old clubs in the garage one day and starting swinging them around when I was 9-10. The PGA Golf Management Program had a successful 2015-16 year, with a variety of students winning tournaments over the fall and spring semesters. There were 23 tournaments run by the Student Club, not including the many PATs that were conducted by the Nebraska Section of the PGA. Continue reading…
Andrew Frakes, PGA (Class of 2015) became a member of the PGA of America as a Class A teaching professional in February this year. Shortly after his election into the PGA, Andrew began talks with the PGA Learning Centers, a new venture with the PGA of America and the PGA Tour. Continue reading…

On April 17, there were 26 teams (104 golfers) that participated in the 2016 Annual Spring Scramble at Wilderness Ridge Golf Club, the primary UNL PGM course. The fundraiser yielded just over $3000 to support the program, most of which went toward scholarships for students in our program. Continue reading…
There has been discussion about starting an alumni group for the PGA Golf Management Program for quite a few years now.
