Player Development Program Starts Off with a Bang!

PGA Golf Management students experienced success in passing their Playing Ability Test (PAT) this fall at Mahoney Golf Course in Lincoln and Crooked Creek just outside Lincoln.

The Player Development Program in the PGA Golf Management Program at UNL is designed to assist students to improve their golf game as they progress toward membership in the PGA of America. One of the requirements in our program is passing the PAT (Playing Ability Test), which requires students to achieve a minimum score over 36 holes played in one day.

This fall semester, the PGA Golf Management Program had fifteen students who successfully passed their PAT. Students and the PAT sites include:
