I would like to say how much I have enjoyed reading the monthly newsletters. I am honored to be featured in this month’s edition as an alum of the program.
After graduation in December of 2009 I returned to Vail where I had spent a few of my internships at the Vail Golf Club. In my eight summers in the mountains I ran our 100 member men’s league top to bottom. The Vail Golf Club is a municipal course that does over 22,000 rounds in a very short season. With people coming from all over the world to vacation there it was very interesting getting to talk with people from all different cultures. Being in Vail for so long gave me the opportunity to really know how to run a successful golf operation.
I left Vail in the winter of 2014-2015 to be in my current position as Assistant Professional at Field Club of Omaha. While I will always miss Vail and the mountain lifestyle I am happy to be back in the Cornhusker State where I grew up and can be closer to family. Field Club of Omaha is a private club and is one of the oldest courses west of the Mississippi River. With over 300 golfing and 400 social memberships it is a very active place to be.
Outside of golf I recently married the love of my life Alex last October. We have a house in Gretna where we live with our black Labrador Dakota.
I’m very proud to be an alumnus of the PGM program at Nebraska and would love to give back in any way possible. Please feel free to contact me for anything I could help with. Thank you
