The 2017 fall semester saw 25 students join the cohort in the PGA Golf Management Program at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. It is a large group and earlier this fall, all the students were successful in passing their Qualifying Level Exam from the PGA of America. Continue reading…

The 2017 annual CONE Cup competition was held at the Country Club of Lincoln (Saturday, Oct 21) and at Wilderness Ridge (Sunday, Oct 22) and saw the competition coming down to the last group, on the last hole, and the last putt. The PGA Golf Management Program at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln saw eight students complete their studies and enter the golf profession. There were numerous PGA Golf Management students from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln who found success in passing their Playing Ability Test (PAT) since last spring. The PAT is a one day, 36 hole playing test that all students must pass before graduating from our program. Continue reading…
The 2017 Match Play Championship was completed at a course in Florida before the official playing of the Jones Cup. Kyle Murray overpowered Kramer Samuelson 3 to 2 to win the Scott Holly Match Play Championship for 2017. Continue reading…
