In April, Brad Goetsch, Instruction Coordinator for the program transitioned into a new position within the program that more closely matches what he has been doing in the program and also opens up some new possibilities moving into the future.
The role of Professor of Practice is a faculty position that will allow for more flexibility in terms of advising in an official capacity as well as leading within the classroom. Brad has always been focused on teaching and will continue to do so with added room for growth.
Also, an exciting component that comes with this change is the opportunity to engage in research projects with students through UCARE (Undergraduate Research) all focused on the golf industry.
There is no question that some exciting things are in the works in the PGA Golf Management Program at UNL!
