Based on research that shows prospective students are looking for specific information about how their college experience will help them prepare for a career, help them succeed academically, and make new social connections, a large-scale project was developed to help deliver this content in a consistent way across college websites at UNL.
The Office of Admissions, University Communication, and College Communicators and Web Developers all worked together to define this content, developed wireframes, and then delivered custom content types (through both UNLcms and shared template files) to college websites, where communicators and developers have been populating these pages.
This collaborative project is continuing this year with the addition of a similar shared content type for Majors pages.
