One of the core responsibilities of all owners of UNL websites is to maintain high compliance with law and regulation in the areas of copyright and accessibility, in order to provide a website without barriers and in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Laura Gonnerman and Ashley Robinson, associate general counsels for the University of Nebraska system, joined the February WDN regular meeting to survey the landscape of institutional risks relevant to digital publishing, including copyright, particularly where images are concerned, and our responsibilities for providing accessible digital experiences for all of our users.
All UNL WDN members are urged to watch the "Copyright, Accessibility and Institutional Risk" video, particularly if they were unable to attend February's meeting.
