The Lied Center for Performing Arts at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln will present the multimedia performance of "Elvis Lives" at 7:30 p.m. on March 7 and 8.

Three of the top Elvis performers in the country, chosen through national auditions by Elvis Presley Enterprises, create a theatrical concert experience that takes a multimedia musical journey through the legend's life. Audiences will enjoy the latest in acoustical excellence showcased by a live band, backup singers and an Ann-Margaret tribute artist

Tickets may be purchased at the Lied Center Ticket Office, 301 N. 12th St., by phone at 402-472-4747 or online at http://www.liedcenter.org. Ticket prices start at $38 for adults and $19 dollars for youth.

A pre-show talk at 7 p.m. each night will be led by Judy Anderson and Matthew Landis. The talk, free to ticket holders, will be in the Lied Center's Steinhart Room.

This Lied performance is sponsored by Lincoln Benefit Life, and patron friend sponsors Christena and Kelley Baker. The Lied Center's 23rd season is supported by Friends of Lied, Ameritas and Union Bank. All events in the Lied Center are made possible entirely or in part by the Lied Performance Fund, established in memory of Ernst F. Lied and his parents, Ernst M. and Ida K. Lied. The Nebraska Arts Council, a state agency, has supported the programs of this organization through its matching grants program funded by the Nebraska Legislature; the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency; and the Nebraska Cultural Endowment.
