Communication Studies Gaming Research meeting, Nov. 29

The Communication Studies Gaming Research Group is a group dedicated to exploring the critical and communicative aspects of gaming through play.

Welcome are students of all majors who share a passion for gaming and an interest in the critical, interpersonal and/or organizational aspects of gaming and game theory. We are open to both non-electronic (board) and electronic (video) games and gamers.

The next meeting is 7 p.m. Nov. 29 in Oldfather Hall room 438. Meetings typically begin with a discussion of new and ongoing research projects before proceeding to gameplay. The concluding games this meeting will include the 2012 “Game of the Year” Kingdom Builder and a special new game prototype.
