UNL earns Tree Campus USA recognition

For the third year in a row, UNL has earned Tree Campus USA recognition from the Arbor Day Foundation. UNL was one of the first nine universities to earn the Tree Campus USA designation in 2008. Since that year, Landscape Services has planted more than 400 trees on City and East campuses. Continue reading…

Annual meeting for campus garden plots is March 30

image_gallery.jpgSign up for an East Campus Agronomy/Horticulture garden plot at 5:15 p.m. March 30 in room 148, L.W. Chase Hall. Plots will be assigned through a lottery-based system. The gardens are open to faculty, staff and students (with a valid NCard). Cost is $30 for a large plot, $15 for a small plot. Continue reading…
