FULL-TIME Position, UNO Academic Advisor, School of Criminology & Criminal Justice on Lincoln Campus
DUTIES: Provide professional academic advising efforts for the University of Nebraska Omaha School of Criminology and Criminal Justice (SCCJ) – Lincoln campus program. Advising responsibilities include current, new and transfer students who need direction and expertise regarding SCCJ degree requirements, policies and procedures, and support in achieving their educational goals. Tasks include (but is not limited to) monitoring student records to ensure compliance with program requirements, progress toward the degree, and graduation requirements. The advisor will assist the program coordinator with assessment reports of student learning outcomes at the direction of the Undergraduate Program Coordinator. The advisor will be a positive contributor to the UNO SCCJ working collaboratively and collegially with the program staff and faculty on both the Omaha and Lincoln campuses as part of SCCJ tasks, student events, and initiatives. The advisor will support a positive learning environment for our students, and positive work place for our team. Salary commensurate with experience.
