The College of Business offers four minors for non-business majors! Please share this information with any students who may be interested in business. These minors are a great compliment to any major and adds depth to their skill sets in critical thinking and problem solving, oral and written communications, teamwork and collaboration, global and international fluency, professionalism, and more!

Students can earn one or more minors in:
- Business
- Law and Business
- Entrepreneurship
- Global Leadership
- Clifton Builders Management*

New/change: Double counting is now allowed for non-business students completing CoB minors. This will be most useful for students interested in Business and Entrepreneurship. They can complete both 18 hours minors by taken 27 hours of coursework, thanks to 3 courses double counting.

The most popular minor is the Business minor. Courses are commonly offered online to allow students to avoid time conflicts with major coursework. Most of the courses are also offered online in the summer to provide students more flexibility. ACCT 200 is slated to be offered in-person in Spring 2024.

Additionally, students pursuing the Business minor may be able to use existing UNL or transfer business coursework to complete minor requirements.
ACCT 200 = ACCT 201 + ACCT 202
ECON 200 = ECON 211 + 212
If your student has transfer coursework that is not completing minor requirements, contact a business advisor or email businessundergrad@unl.edu to visit about whether the credit can be substituted.

*The Clifton Builders Program is designed to identify and develop students with high leadership and entrepreneurial potential. Courses are taken as a cohort and an application to enter the program is required. If you have questions, please contact the Clifton Strengths Institute at 402-472-3933.
