Major Exploration Week is three days of events dedicated to helping students find their major. It is a great opportunity for students who are considering a second major or minor. From March 6 to March 8, they will have the opportunity to partake in events like “Values, Majors and Careers,” “How to Choose a Major” and “Getting to Know Your Interests, Skills and Values.”
At the “Values, Majors and Careers” event, students can partake in a values assessment that helps them reflect on what the most value in a career, leading them closer to picking a major. Then, at “How to Choose a Major” they can go through the full list of majors at Nebraska and narrow down their choices. Finally, at “Getting to Know Your Interests, Skills and Values” they can take the “Focus 2 Career” assessment and be connected with majors and careers.
