Evenings of Dance is an annual concert of modern dance works by faculty, guest artists and selected students of the UNL dance program in the Glenn Korff School of Music

• April 28: A Conversation with Bill Nye. 7 p.m. This virtual event is free, but registration is required at http://www.liedcenter.org/BillNye. The event is presented by the Lied Center for Performing Arts and UPC Nebraska in partnership with Sustain UNL. Bill Nye—scientist, engineer, comedian, author and inventor—is a man with a mission: to help foster a scientifically literate society and to help people everywhere understand and appreciate the science that makes our world work. In this conversation with UNL hosts, Nye will address issues of sustainability, climate change, and how we can all be better stewards of this planet we call home. Through all of his work, Nye hopes to inspire people everywhere to change the world.

• May 2: Big Red Singers Performance. 7:30 p.m. No in-person audience. The live webcast link will be available at https://music.unl.edu the day of the performance.

• May 4: Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film Design/Tech Open House. 6-8 p.m. Studio Theatre in the Temple Building. The Open House is a chance to see the end-of-the-year portfolio review for design/tech students and meet with our students. Their work will also be on display in an open gallery in the Studio Theatre from May 5-7 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Both events are free and open to the public.

• May 6-9: Nebraska Repertory Theatre presents "Dracula: Mina's Quest." Webcast at 7:30 p.m. May 6-8 and 2 p.m. May 9. Tickets are free, but must be reserved at http://nebraskarep.org. The Rep's Apprentice Company takes the stage with a frightening and provocative new adaptation of Bram Stoker's Dracula. Follow Mina, the brave heroine, as she dares to defy the ruler of the night. This sensual and terrifying retelling of the classic story will leave you clinging to the edge of your seat. This play is not recommended for children or the faint of heart.

• May 8: Clay Club Sale. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the LUX Center for the Arts, 2601 N. 48th St. in Lincoln. Admission is free. The event will be held in tandem with the LUX Center's Mayfest event, which will run noon to 3 p.m. The Clay Club Sale will include works of art created by graduate students, undergraduate students, alumni and faculty in the School of Art, Art History & Design representing a broad range of aesthetics, techniques and concepts.
