Nationwide is proud to invite School of Computing students to participate in its first national, virtual hackathon.
Seize the opportunity to be a part of Nationwide's next cutting-edge application and shape the company works. Whether your solution helps Nationwide reduce risk, improve its operating efficiency or cut costs, the company is looking for the epitome of innovation in streamlining how it does business with customers.
Participants can select from provided themes for which they’ll share their ideas and proposed solutions. A panel of judges will review, and select the originators of the best solutions to participate in the hackathon.
Each participant will gain access to Nationwide’s open-API platform in conjunction with all available open-source APIs to help solve the specific business problem. The most innovative solution may be put into action with current API offerings.
In addition to the following prizes, participants will have an opportunity to meet and interact with the Nationwide team, gain exposure to a great panel of judges and earn invaluable real-world experience.
