Present at ITS Heartland Annual Meeting

School of Computing students are invited to present their current research on any desired ITS topic at a poster session at the ITS Heartland Annual Meeting on Tuesday, April 26, 2022.

Three students will be chosen as winners of the ITS Heartland Student Competition and will receive the following:
• First Place: $800
• Second Place: $400
• Third Place: $250

A stipend of $100 will be provided to each student competition participant to offset travel costs.

Project Evaluation Criteria:
• Poster presentation of information in an easy to understand, yet engaging format
• Interest of the topic and content to the broad Intelligent Transportation Systems industry
• Analysis and reasoning
• Timeliness, originality, and creativity
• Quality and use of research
• Depth of knowledge, and awareness of ITS issues and challenges

Eligibility Requirements:
• Author must be a full-time student enrolled in an accredited institution of learning in the ITS Heartland region (IA, KS, NE, MO, OK).
• Entries are limited to one poster per student.

Submit Your Project:
Authors can submit their project abstracts online at https://itsheartland.org/student-competition/.

Students are also invited to participate in the conference free of charge.

Project abstracts must be submitted by midnight (CST) on Wednesday, March 30, 2022.
