Timothy Houtchens is currently looking for a student to build a software recognition program for the agriculture industry. This student will be working with a hyper-spectral sensor, which will detect and identify pests commonly found in the farm fields. With this, Houtchens wants to be able to create variable rate applicator maps for spot spraying fields to reduce chemicals and chemical costs.
