The German American Chamber of Commerce of the Midwest, Inc. would like to make students aware of an upcoming opportunity for students and young professionals.

The Transatlantic Program for Young Technology Leaders (TAP-YTL) is pleased to announce its 2015 “Disruptive Digital & Internet of Things” delegation trip to Germany this August. The delegation will offer 12 select participants the chance to explore cutting-edge innovations and technologies during an exclusive, eight-day trip throughout Germany. TAP-YTL is financially supported by the German Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy and operates under the patronage of the German Ambassador to the United States.

Since 2002, the Transatlantic Program has brought over 260 promising US students and young professionals to Germany for in-depth, content-driven encounters with experts in their field to promote collaboration and knowledge exchange between both countries.

Participants of the 2015 delegation will engage rising stars of the German start-up community, visit leading research institutions and tech incubators, and personally interact with engineers, public officials, and entrepreneurs driving the next generation of disruptive digital technology. Structured intercultural communications training is integrated into the program and assists the Young Technology Leaders in building international networks and advancing their careers.
