The Computer Science and Engineering Department is now accepting applications for teaching assistantships for the Spring 2012 semester.
Undergraduates interested in serving as Ugrad TAs for the Spring semester, which could include helping in labs, grading, record keeping, and more, are invited to apply through the following site: https://cse.unl.edu/~gta Students who have not applied through this system before will need to register first. Once logged in, update your academic record (not much to do for undergraduates) and specify your preferences for courses in which to help. Students may work any number of hours, according to available time and amount of work to be done. Pay is $9.50 per hour.
Undergraduate students who want additional information about Ugrad TA positions should contact Chuck Riedesel, Chief Undergraduate Adviser, at riedesel@cse.unl.edu, by phone at 402-472-3486, or in person at 259 Avery Hall.
Graduate students interested in being a Teaching Assistant must also apply at https://cse.unl.edu/~gta even if your offer extends into the spring semester. Make sure to log in, update your academic record, and specify your preferences for the courses offered. Application consideration is soon and assistantships are limited. Please log in and submit this information immediately.
Graduate students looking for more information about TA positions should contact Chris Bourke, GTA Committee Chair, at cbourke@cse.unl.edu, by phone at 402-472-5008, or in person at 363 Avery Hall.
