The Nebraska Math & Science Summer Institutes (NMSSI) 2012 catalog of mathematics courses is now available online (science and pedagogy courses are coming soon). We are offering more than 20 courses for K-12 mathematics teachers in 11 Nebraska locations (see map). Although registration will not open until March 5, you can start planning your summer now. Read more about the courses on the website at: http://scimath.unl.edu/nmssi.
By partnering with Nebraska’s Educational Service Units, we will be offering NMSSI courses in Ainsworth, Auburn, Columbus, Grand Island, Hastings, Kearney, Norfolk, North Platte, Omaha, Scottsbluff and Lincoln.
For all NMSSI courses, Nebraska teachers automatically qualify for a fellowship equal to 20 percent of the cost of in-state graduate tuition. We will be offering additional fellowships to help cover remaining tuition costs when funds become available. As an additional benefit, lunch will be provided for teachers at all NMSSI sites.
