Next week (2/7) Dr. Anthony Chase from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis has been invited to share his research.
The topic of conversation will focus on "How Do We Foster Appreciation for DBER on Our Campuses? - A Summary of Initiatives at the Undergraduate and Faculty Levels". Please join us!

Bio:
Dr. Chase is an alum of UNL's Chem Ed program. He has expertise in Organic Chemistry, Educational Evaluation, Research Methodology, and Assessment in STEM. After finishing his bachelor's degree at UNL, he continued on to receive his master's at Purdue University. His Ph.D. is in Educational Psychology and Research Methodology. His published work has been focused around chemistry laboratory assessment. He has worked closely with all three major military academies (United States Military Academy, United States Air Force Academy, and United States Naval Academy) to provide opportunities for cadets and midshipmen to engage in undergraduate research. Specifically, he stood up a Course-based Undergraduate Research Experience at the United States Military Academy at West Point that now impacts over a third of cadets entering the academy. His statistical expertise includes factor analyses, MLM, and SEM.
