Global grant deadlines for food security, linguistics begin in June
Several funding opportunities for international research and partnerships expire this summer, including the IANR-São Paulo Research Foundation SPRINT Initiative, the U.S. Foreign Agriculture Service Emerging Markets Program and Food for Progress Program, and the NSF Linguistics doctoral research program.

International Quilt Museum offers virtual experiences, lectures
The International Quilt Museum is joining forces with five fiber organizations to present “Textile Talks,” a virtual lecture series for audiences to enjoy from home. Running from April 29 to June 3, “Textile Talks” will feature weekly presentations and panel discussions from the International Quilt Museum, the Modern Quilt Guild, Quilt Alliance, San Jose Museum of Quilts and Textiles, Studio Art Quilt Associates and Surface Design Association.

Lied Live Online offers international array of shows in May
After receiving positive responses to the first month of Lied Live Online concerts, the Lied Center for Performing Arts has added five shows for May, including performances with musical ties around the world. The shows will be at 7:30 p.m. each Friday of the month.
