The Office of Global Strategies is pleased to invite you to host an event in celebration of International Education Week (IEW). IEW 2018 will take place during the week of November 12-16, 2018.
Please join us in celebrating the joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences. The annual event also highlights international diversity and promotes the opportunity to experience new cultures.
IEW is celebrated in more than 100 countries worldwide. We invite all departments, offices and student organizations to join the program and host an event.
The Office of Global Strategies will publicize events. If you plan to host an event in celebration of IEW, please contact Courtney Van Hoosen (information below) to get your event added on the comprehensive web calendar and all promotional materials. Please ensure that final event details are submitted no later than Friday, November 9. Join the celebration by using #IEW2018 on all social media posts.
