There are more people 65 and older than under the age of 5 in the United States. Understanding unique issues about the aging experience is essential for persons completing graduate education at UNL.
The department of gerontology offers several courses of interest in person and online to graduate students at UNL. Fall 2023 courses include: Gero 889 Palliative Care (taught by a palliative care physician), Gero 847 Mental Health and Aging, Gero 851 Long-Term Care Administration, and Gero 846 Programs & Services for older adults.
