Welcome Associate Dean Jennifer Wood!
OGS is pleased to welcome Jennifer R. Wood, Ph.D. as the new Associate Dean for Graduate Education. Associate Dean Wood will lead the Professional Development Team and contribute to the overall leadership in OGS. “We are excited to have Dr. Wood bring her extensive experience with graduate students and her knowledge of CASNR to our office,” said Dean Debra Hope.
Dr. Wood, a professor in the Department of Animal Science, joined the faculty at UNL in June 2006. During her tenure she has maintained an active research program aimed at improving egg quality in humans and cows and teaching systems physiology courses for graduate and professional students. Dr. Wood was a member of the department’s graduate committee for 10 years prior to chairing the committee the last three years. She has also chaired the CASNR Teaching Learning Improvement Council and is on the presidential chain for the Society for the Study of Reproduction.
