Do you like how life looks through the camera lens?
KLKN-TV in Lincoln, Nebraska, is looking for a photojournalist to be the audio and visual expert in our newsroom which produces content for multiple platforms.
The ideal candidate has at least two years of experience shooting and editing VO’s, VOSOTs and PKGs/NATPKGs. Sports experience a plus. You should also have working knowledge of backpack live shots and be willing to get certified in running the microwave truck. Must be willing to travel for days at a time when news or sports travel is necessary.
Adobe Premiere in-depth experience puts you at the top of the list.
Should be well-versed in lighting techniques, editing enhancements and be able to coach and mentor new employees in all elements of camera, lighting, live and editing. Must work well in a team environment, but also a strong independent worker, have great organization skills as you’ll assist with keeping gear and vehicles up to standards and maintained.
