TEDxYouth@Lincoln Internships

TEDxYouth@Lincoln is seeking journalism students to fill three roles to assist in the preparation and promotion of this year’s TEDxYouth@Lincoln Event, scheduled for August 16, 2014. These unpaid internships may be filled by one or more individuals, dependent on experience and interest.
1. Motion Graphics. We need an individual to animate our event logo for use on our website and to be incorporated into videos promoting and documenting the planning process for our event this summer. Interested individuals must be familiar with After Effects or other motion graphics software. Deadline for production is April 1, 2014.
2. Video producer/editor. We are seeking an individual to create at least one 30-second video and one 60-second promotional video to be uploaded to social media and used in other promotional avenues. These videos will be produced from existing content, including photos and video clips of last year’s event. Editor must be familiar and have access to editing software like Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premier Pro or iMovie. Deadline for completion is negotiable, but preferred by April 1, 2014.
3. Videographer. We need an individual to shoot footage documenting the planning for the 2014 event. This may include attending planning meetings, coaching sessions and being on site during construction of the stage in August 2014. The videographer must have access to their own equipment and should have some experience. The deliverable will be high definition Quick Time video clips.
