The Cornhusker hosts an annual celebration for its associates to honor each People Pleaser of the Month the previous year. At this event they name the People Pleaser of the Year (PPOY) from the pool of monthly winners. For 2015’s PPOY, there are 11 associates nominated. They are seeking assistance to create a video featuring interviews from each candidate, focusing on their experience as a brilliant host at The Cornhusker. The video will be shown to over 200 associates during the award ceremony hosted on March 20th, 2016. The event is in the theme of the Great Gatsby, as a tie-in to the hotel celebrating its 90th year anniversary.
Video requirements:
The Cornhusker needs a talented videographer to interview and record the 11 associates nominated for PPOY. The hotel will present a list of questions for the nominee to run through, then the recorded answers will be compiled into a video no longer than 5 minutes long shot at 1080p, with 24+ fps. They’re open to creativity in terms of the arrangement of interviews, addition of B-roll footage or other elements the videographer wishes to focus on.
This is an excellent opportunity to create a meaningful piece of work for a portfolio or resume while working with a local company. The Cornhusker hopes to find a student at UNL eager to partner with them for this project!
