NRG Media in Lincoln, NE has a full-time opening for a Morning
News Anchor. Lincoln’s News/Talk leader is looking for a great voice to anchor
newscasts and join an award-winning news department.
Prior broadcast news experience and knowledge of audio editing programs desired but
applicants from other journalism platforms are welcome.
Requirements:
Professional
on-air delivery is a must. Organization and multi-tasking abilities are
critical in laying the groundwork for the news department each day. Must be
able to adhere to firm deadlines and exhibit the ability to thrive in a fast
paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
include, but are not limited to: Gathering, originating, writing and delivering
newscasts every weekday morning. Contributing news content for use by
morning show hosts outside of newscasts. Provide comprehensive coverage of news
on air and on digital media platforms.
