Graphic Design Intern, State Museum Morrill Hall

The University of Nebraska State Museum in Morrill Hall is seeking two (2) part-time, undergraduate student employees to assist in creating graphics for a variety of marketing, exhibits and research projects.

Duties include working with the Communications Officer and Exhibits Coordinator to create graphics such as signage, exhibit panels, web graphics, advertisements, book layout and merchandise designs.

Qualifications include strong artistic skills and attention to detail with the ability to work independently and efficiently. Proficient in the use of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Experience developing marketing materials through either course work or previous employment or internship. Interest or knowledge of the natural sciences desirable, but not required.

Paid internship: $10/hour, up to 20 hurs/week beginning academic year 2016. Submit cover letter, resume and design samples to Lexi Matulka, mus-lexi@unl.edu
