Columbus News Team/News Channel Nebraska (NCN48) in Columbus is looking for a highly motivated and creative self-starter willing to work hard to help lead the Sales Team. Successful candidate will create professional proposals, work closely with other station departments; display a caring attitude toward clients, the business and the sales team. Keep a positive attitude and open mind to learn new ways of attaining business and find effective ways to encourage clients to advertise with Columbus News Team/NCN48. Promote our news and sports coverage. Build community awareness through involvement in community organization. Have a positive presence in the Community. Uncover events and sales opportunities that can increase sales for Columbus News Team/NCN48. Provide dynamic information to current and potential clients. Create advertising options and packages to meet the needs of clients, while meeting and exceeding sales goals. Lead the Columbus News Team/NCN 48 Sales Staff under the direction and help of the Sales Manager. Help at on-site promotions and sporting events when needed. Help create budgets and sales goals for the sales team. Edit, approve and reject sales pieces from Sales Managers. Keep track of online inventory and on-air sponsorships. Other duties as assigned.
Experience:
Previous sales manager experience is not required.
