We are looking for an energetic team player, a leader who understands the flexible schedule that the broadcast industry requires to join our production crew. This person will be responsible for operating cameras, teleprompter, audio-board, graphics and video equipment; as related to LIVE broadcasts and post-production, Tricaster experience is a plus. Must have good technical skills, and good communication skills. Responsibilities include floor directing, camera and studio operator, digital editing (Final Cut X), assisting the news department, and other duties as assigned which may include:
-Schedule Camera Operators for all live events
-Contact School Athletic Directors
-Set up site surveys and develop a detailed plan on paper/computer all information
-Manage all equipment - inventory truck after each event, make
sure truck is clean and equipment is ready to go out for the next event.
-Organize all logs for live events
-Create and Update graphics for all live events
-Professional Leader

Requirements:
Television production assistants need to be LEADERS, organized, proactive, show initiative, good IT skills and communication. They should have a keen eye for detail, be happy to work under pressure and to strict deadlines, as well as numerate and very flexible. Technical Directing and overall studio production background is key factor to this position.
Working hours:
Working hours will be regular but subject to work LIVE events for stations sports and live events that occur on nights and weekends.
