Get valuable marketing communications, project assistant and event planning experience in a fun and spirited environment. As an alumni association intern, you’ll help us support the university and engage current students and our worldwide alumni family.
Assist with event planning, project coordination and customer service for a variety of alumni association programs and events including: Alumni Awards Banquet, Nebraska Women’s Leadership Network, Masters Week, Student Alumni Association alumni outreach events and more.
Desired skills include:
1. Knowledge of event planning, implementation and project coordination.
2. Ability to organize time, projects and details.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
4. Ability to work independently; able to work some evenings and weekends.
5. Ability to work and collaborate with small and large groups.
6. Knowledge of and technical background in social media (i.e. Facebook, GroupMe, Instagram, Twitter).
7. Aptitude to communicate with and value a variety of personality types and diverse populations.
8. Maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.
