Student Worker - CoJMC Diversity & Inclusion Committee (Lincoln, NE)

The College of Journalism and Mass Communications (CoJMC) seeks a student worker to support the college's Diversity and Inclusion Committee. Working with the committee chair, this position will coordinate and facilitate the establishment of a Diversity and Inclusion database in the college. The position is for 5 hours a week beginning immediately and ending in November 2019.

Responsibilities:
> Provides administrative and logistical support to the Diversity & Inclusion Committee.
> Responsible for data collection from college faculty.
> Responsible for developing a diversity and inclusion curriculum database.
> May assist with planning a variety of diversity-related events and other committee initiatives.

Job Requirements:
> Self-starter with the ability to work independently while also contributing to a highly collaborative team.
> Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
> Strong technical skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Microsoft Access and Excel.
> Knowledge of College of Journalism and Mass Communications curriculum helpful.
