Do you have an internship this summer? Apply for $$ to support your experience. There are four different internship awards available for students majoring in advertising and public relations or journalism.
Nelson Dream Big Fund:
Apply for $2,000 from the Nelson Dream Big Fund. Open to undergraduate journalism majors who have secured an internship at a top national newspaper, magazine, website or news service.
Deb Fiddelke Fund:
Apply for $1,000 from the Deb Fiddelke fund. Open to undergraduate advertising and public relations majors who have secured an unpaid or underpaid internship.
Kris Malkoski Fund:
Apply for $1,000 from the Kris Malkoski fund. Open to undergraduate advertising and public relations majors who have secured an unpaid or underpaid internship.
J. Steve Davis Jump Start Fund:
Apply for $1,000 from the J. Steve Davis Jump Start Fund. Open to undergraduate students in CoJMC who have secured an advertising internship in a large metropolitan market outside Nebraska.
To apply, submit an application by April 15th at https://go.unl.edu/3wn5, include a letter of support from a CoJMC faculty member and a 30-second video OR 1,000-word essay that explains how the funds will support your experience.
