Advancement Internship - University of Nebraska Foundation (Lincoln, NE)

Through the Council of Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), we seek candidates for an exclusive intern program designed to increase and diversify the number of professionals in educational advancement, and attract students who may not have previously considered a career in institutional advancement. This paid program will occur for 8 weeks June 3 – July 26, 2019 and includes in-depth work experience, education, and all expenses paid attendance at a CASE conference in Washington, DC (June 30 – July 2).

The Foundation will select one intern to sponsor in this program, which will include a project to help the Foundation better understand our alumni, their stories, and the impact they’ve had through their personal and professional lives. Focused work will include meeting one-on-one with alumni in order to engage the alumni in stories about their time at the University of Nebraska, their career path, and how the institution can better engage them moving forward.

Requires undergraduate or graduate student status at the University of Nebraska, high level of professionalism, excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, willingness to make cold calls, demonstrated outgoing and affable personality, and interest in higher education. Candidates must be available for entire program and conference, as well as have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation. Resume review to begin immediately.

$5000 stipend payable in two installments at the end of June and July. Requires full time 40-hour per week commitment.
