Assistant Product Manager - Open Road Brands (Wichita, KS)

The Assistant Product Manager (APM) is responsible for assisting the Product Manager in developing product lines. The APM is critical for managing all item setup and maintenance throughout the planning process as well as weekly reporting and analysis.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
> Item/SKU management for assigned product categories.
> Sample management for assigned product categories.
> Show Room setup for meetings and presentations.
> Review sales data to understand high, medium, and low performing items.
> Analyze sales data to understand the product attributes that are making the product sell or not sell. Such as product types, licensed brands, design themes/styles, product sizes, retails, etc.
> Ensure packaging, labeling, etc meet customer requirements.
> Assist the Product Manager in line planning and product development.
> Be aware of current market trends.
> Assist the Product Manager with various projects and tasks.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
> Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, advanced skills in Excel
> Analytical and problem-solving skills
> Detail-oriented
> Ability to multi-task
> Strong organizational skills
> Strong collaborator
> Desire to get results and demonstrates a sense of urgency
> Ability to adapt well to change in direction and priority in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
