Communications Intern - Nebraska Grain and Feed Association (Lincoln, NE)

The Nebraska Grain and Feed Association (NEGFA) is seeking an individual interested in digital media and an interest in the grain elevator and feed industry. This individual assists in building brand presence in print and online.

Responsibilities:
> Website Development - Create website graphics, keep information updated, and write content.
> Membership Services – Assist with NEGFA programs and events. Curate and schedule electronic newsletters and action alerts for members.
> Social Media – Design graphics to promote NEGFA events and safety information. Write and schedule posts promoting NEGFA programs, membership services, and safety information.
> Special Projects – Video / Policy Papers / Digitalization of Association Photos.

Qualifications/Prerequisite Skills:
Students applying for this position must be enrolled in an accredited program within a U.S. college or university. Applicants should possess strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe InDesign/Illustrator, Canva, or Mailchimp.

Compensation & Schedule:
The pay is $12.00 hourly. Required to work 20 hours per week. Up to 40 hours per week.
