Communications and Operations Internship - NUtech Ventures (Lincoln, NE)

Join the NUtech Ventures team at Nebraska Innovation Campus! We patent research inventions and license them to companies—where they’re one step closer to becoming products that impact society.

In this role, you’ll be working with our team of marketing, technology and operations managers to develop communications and marketing content. As needed, you will also assist with general office operations, including event planning and other outreach opportunities.

We’re looking for the following:
> Self-motivated students: We encourage you to bring new ideas to the table, learn new skills and take ownership of projects.
> Team-players: We’re a small team and work cross-functionally to get things done.
> Well organized and detail-oriented: Someone who enjoys a variety of projects and can follow through to ensure completion.
> Experience in copy-writing: Our projects include writing for websites, social media, email newsletters and event promotion.
> It’s a bonus if you have experience in: graphic design, DSLR video and photography, or Associated Press style writing (news articles, feature stores).

What you’ll get:
> An internship that pays $10/hour with a flexible schedule. You can work 10-15 hours/week in the summer and 10 hours/week in the academic year.
