Communications Intern - Bryan Health (Lincoln, NE)

Bryan Health has an exciting opportunity for a student passionate about Communications and looking for that perfect internship opportunity. Our intern will work closely with the Bryan Health communications and marketing professionals to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

Position Details:
> Looking for an intern who can commit up to 15–20 hours a week during the school year, with more hours available in the summer months if interested
> Paid internship, $15/hr
> Internship will last approximately 9–12 months

Position Overview:
> Will seek out inspirational stories from leaders and staff members
> Will write, create and post internal news articles and announcements
> Will copyedit and brand Bryan Health documents and materials
> Will help to curate and maintain intranet and employee app content

Necessary Qualifications:
> Pursuit of a degree in Communication, Journalism, English or related field is preferred
> Passion for writing and excellent editing and communication skills
> At least 45 credits earned toward undergraduate degree preferred
> Creative, enthusiastic and self-motivated with a positive attitude
> Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
> Strong problem-solving skills, analytical capabilities and collaboration skills
> Extremely strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality
> Knowledge of AP Style preferred
> Photoshop, InDesign, or other graphic design experience is a plus, but not required
> Familiarity with social media platforms
