4-H Teen Council Invites New Members

Are you a 7th–12th grader looking for a fun way to build leadership skills, make new friends and give back to your community? Join the Lancaster County 4‑H Teen Council! Teen Council members plan and participate in a variety of hands-on activities, community service projects and leadership opportunities throughout the year. Past projects have included assembling hygiene kits for people in need and organizing an overnight Lock-In for 4th and 5th graders. Guest speakers and interactive sessions make each meeting both fun and meaningful!

Meetings are held monthly on the second Sunday, 3–5 p.m., from September through April at the Nebraska Extension in Lancaster County office (444 Cherrycreek Road, Suite A, Lincoln). Upcoming meeting dates: Sept. 14, Oct. 12 and Nov. 9. Want to learn more or sign up? Contact Tracy Anderson at
