Professor Kristen Blankley was invited to participate in the 2017 Penn State Yearbook on Arbitration and Mediation on February 3, 2017. The symposium focused on Controversies in Arbitration, and Professor Blankley spoke on the intersection of the Federal Arbitration Act and conflicting federal agency rules. Following the symposium, Professor Blankley published an article on the same topic in the annual Yearbook on Arbitration and Mediation.

Professor Blankley was an invited speaker at The Ohio State University Journal of Dispute Resolution’s symposium on Philosophy, Technology, and ADR: Examining Development in Dispute Resolution Systems. Blankley discussed the ethical issues arising from pre-dispute collaborative law agreements.

Professor Blankley moderated and spoke on an ABA Section of Dispute Resolution panel entitled Arbitration Case Law – Annual Update Webinar. The program, with speakers from across the country, discussed the most relevant arbitration cases, legislation, and regulations from the past year.
