Global Café: Careers in Foreign Service

• Join us for an information session about careers in foreign service and various student programs. During this virtual session you will meet with and have a chance to ask questions of Amanda Johnson, Diplomat in Residence, U.S. Department of State. With over 276 diplomatic facilities worldwide and at home, U.S. Department of State has great public service careers and benefits. Student programs include internships, study abroad, immersive language opportunities, and fellowships for graduate study. This information session will be lead by Amanda Johnson and moderated by Dr. Emira Ibrahimpaic, Assistant Professor of Practice and Assistant Director of Global Studies in the School of Global Integrative Studies (SGIS).

• Attend a Huskers Abroad 101 session to take the first step toward going abroad. This session will cover researching program options, selecting a program, funding and the timeline for the process.

Cargill Global Scholars Program Applications due March 4th
• The Cargill Global Scholars Program (CGSP) is a distinctive, two-year scholarship program that provides financial support to undergraduate students in Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Russia, and the United States.
