2024 MTEP Conference

The purpose of this conference is to build understanding of and engagement with the MTEP 2.0 network in its goal to transform secondary mathematics teacher preparation programs in alignment with the AMTE Standards. In particular,
- Participants who are engaged in MTEP 2.0 teams will have opportunities to network with others doing related work with the goal of creating ongoing collaborations.
- Participants who are new to MTEP 2.0 will learn more about the network and how it might support their efforts.
- Participants will gain insights about secondary mathematics teacher preparation being generated by the MTEP 2.0 network.
- Participants will learn about critical issues in secondary math teacher preparation.

MTEP 2.0 and AMTE recognize that this year's conference location in Florida has implications for the decision to attend. For statements regarding the conference location, see the 2024 MTEP Conference announcement and the AMTE leadership message. The 2024 MTEP Conference will include a virtual attendance option, and AMTE plans to provide recordings or streaming of plenary sessions as well as a free way for AMTE members to asynchronously view session materials and interact with speakers during the AMTE Conference.
