The Center for Love & Justice, situated within the High Tech High Graduate School of Education, co-designs schools for love, justice and collective liberation. It elevates the voices of young people, teachers and communities to foster a sustainable, grassroots approach to system-wide transformation rooted in deeper learning and critical consciousness. It works to transform schools into places where young folks feel seen, heard, activated and connected to their community.
In partnering with the center, schools often focus on:
- Activating student voice through shared decision-making and co-creation
- Making learning public by curating and reflecting on student work across the school
- Fostering deeper learning through projects that build identity, belonging and purpose
