Beyond School Bells is now accepting applications for its summer Conservation Management Internship! This paid, two-week internship gives students hands-on experience with conservation efforts around Nebraska.

The internship takes place May 31-June 1, and applicants must be 15 years or older. If selected, students will receive a $500 stipend and support in their conservation service learning after the internship. BSB will coordinate travel, lodging, meals, and site activities and will be provided to interns guardians before the program begins.

This trip is coordinated by BSB and supported by the Nebraska Environmental Trust. The program organizes small groups of high school students (typically three per group) to travel to a conservation site and engage in conservation efforts. These visits vary in duration, activity, and location, but are often outdoors and require physical activity though accommodations can be made so everyone gets the best experience. Students are selected as interns and are accompanied by conservation mentors.
