3 free Personal Protection & Safety Classes

The three free Personal Protection & Safety Classes are September 13, 20, and 29.Each on-campus session covers awareness drills; psychological stresses in a confrontational situation; and practical physical techniques to demonstrate the simplicity and effectiveness of actual self-defense training. Classes are Sept 13, 20, and 29 from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at WCDC or Nebraska Union.

Well-being Coaching begins Sept. 13

Coaching promotes the nine dimensions of well-being that provides a framework for personal exploration and balance.Students can discuss challenges and goals with a peer through well-being coaching. Coaches are trained student volunteers who can help others by discussing social connection, stress management, emotional awareness, growth mindset and more. Appointments can be scheduled via MyPlan starting Sept. 13.
